Ok! So we all know how akon and T-Pain have really been hitting it big lately, and doing there thang, so... Now I decided to take a survey to see who yall think is better.

1. If you had the chance to meet one of them which would it be and why?
2. If you had the chance to sleep with one of them which one would it be and why?
3. If you were stuck on an island with one of them who would it be and why?
4. If you had to marry one of them who would it be?
5. Which one would you think perform better live?
6. Which one do you think has a better singing voice?
7. Which one will have the more successful career and why?
8. If you wanted to sing a duet with one of them which would it be?
9. Which one of them do you think is more of a druggy?
10. Which one of them would be a good actor and why?

Who the hell is t-pain?

Post 3 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Sunday, 26-Aug-2007 13:03:23

I don't know, nor care, who either of these people are.

Post 4 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Sunday, 26-Aug-2007 15:07:45

t Pain sounds like a freaken robot. I wouldn't call it talent if they have to alter their voices like that.

Post 5 by Austin (the magic fan!) on Sunday, 26-Aug-2007 16:08:12

akon is way better. t payne uses that effect to make it sound like he sings good. i've heard him live and he sucks at singing. akon at least doesn't use that effect on his voice.

Post 6 by American James (Veteran Zoner) on Sunday, 26-Aug-2007 16:46:20

Hello, I don't care for Akon or T-pain. I think it's sickening that people admire individuals who sing about filth. Also, it isn't talent when you simulate rapes on stage during concert. I hope they get lost in the dust, and some more appropriate folks get the chance to shine.

Post 7 by reclusive thinker (Veteran Zoner) on Sunday, 26-Aug-2007 17:03:41

They both make me want to barf.

Agreed

*gasps* I love Akon. He's just so mmm! And I have no idea how T-Pain became famous cause he even sings offkey on his cd so that's saying something! I think I'd choose Akon all the way cause even without the robotic sounds, T-Pain sounds ugly. lol And as for who sings better live, I missed Akon on A.I. so can't really tell there. But I think I'd still choose Akon cause I love his music. Don't know about the whole drug thing cause I've stopped following the music news so have some catching up to do. heehee I have to say, Akon's second CD is really good. I love just about every song on there. My favorite is Never Took the time or something like that. heehee The words are very touching and they always make me think of long lost loves. hehehehe Well hope you get more positive responses to this one.

Michelle

ok, that thing with Akon happened in a 21 and up club, and the girl was 15 which he had no idea.
I'm for Akon all the way!

Post 16 by YankeeFanForLife! (Picapiedra: king of the boards!) on Sunday, 26-Aug-2007 20:14:36

huh huh huh?

Post 17 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 5:10:36

Both awful singers, both fake, neither of them write their own songs, music or lyrics (as far as I know) evenif they did, the music is dreadful. I hope that American manufactured Idol stars will stop being so popular, by enlarge they suck. But apparently they try "hard" to appeal to the younger (i.e. underage) generation.
t-pain in the ass and a-con-vict.
cheers

Post 18 by tear drop (No longer looking for a prince, merely a pauper with potential!!!!!) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 5:19:20

Akon!!! All the way!!!
T pain sounds like a fucking !!! techno throwback to the eighties!!!!

Post 19 by jessmonsilva (Taking over the boards, one topic at a time.) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 6:54:59

But you know, the interesting thing about this is: even though Akon still sings better and what not T-Pain still has him beat by a longshot on billboards and has also appeared on more song remixes? It's just amazing to me how lots of people hate on the pain, yet, he still thrives and gets even more money, and more fame, lol.
And that is the reason I did this survey, to see if my theories were correct.
I wouldn't be surprised if T-Pain left convict soon, oh, and btw news on Akon, he apparently wants Paris Hilton as a part of convict records...
In the next post I'll answer my own survey.

Post 20 by YankeeFanForLife! (Picapiedra: king of the boards!) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 11:47:08

But people! Who the hell is, t-pain!

Post 21 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 13:26:43

T-Pain is this dude from Tallahasse. You don't know that song "buy you a drank"?

Post 22 by changedheart421 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 13:44:51

I am all for a con

Post 23 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 13:48:49

I forgot the second E in Tallahassee. Not that it matters much.

Post 24 by Austin's Angel (move over school!) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 13:53:03

T pain is the one that does "i'm in love with a stripper".

Post 25 by ItsAConspiraZ (This site is so "educational") on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 14:23:19

For those who don't know, T-Pain appeared in the overplayed "you and dat" with e-40 ("tryin' to get to you and dat booty") and the one which goes "buy you a draaank". I thought R. Kelly did the stripper song. Akon did "locked up," "belly dancer," "Mr. Lonely" and "smack that" in addition to appearing in snoop dogg's "I wanna fuck (love) you."

What do I think of them, you ask? I'm not a fan of either one. While T-Pain uses autotune or a vocoder or whatever for obvious effect, I don't doubt Akon can't sing without help from autotune himself - his voice is too perfect and long running. All singers use autotune anwyay - if you listen closely you can hear weird non-human glitches in their voice. Even if he didn't use autotune his songs are boring and formulaic - pop songs rarely get stuck in my head these days, and his are no exception (anyone else notice they're shortening verses in order to get to the hooking chorus faster? They overdo it - chorus is played so many times it loses its hooking quality.)

Post 26 by DancingAfterDark (I just keep on posting!) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 15:03:04

Lol. I wholeheartedly agree with B. Neither one for me.

Post 27 by chelslicious (like it or not, I'm gonna say what I mean. all the time.) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 16:54:57

akon absolutely sucks! t pain all the way!

Post 28 by YankeeFanForLife! (Picapiedra: king of the boards!) on Monday, 27-Aug-2007 17:40:59

t pain is so much better than Akon.

Post 30 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Thursday, 06-Sep-2007 15:28:28

They both are bad. Especially the messages they send out to kids. Kids listen to the radio too.
